I did not participate in the creation of this depiction of a fine lump of sugar. However, It’s wary gaze hints of vulnerability and uncertainty. The medium, stained a pale yellow ochre, informs of time past - all while the fluidity of the subject’s appendages’ welcome the present and all that it’s future holds.
